The Space Needle

Ever since we first visited Seattle, three years ago, Caleb has been obsessed with the Space Needle. He first thought it was a space ship ready to take off into space. We never went because it is a little pricey. However, when we moved to Washington, we promised him that we would take him before we moved away.

Well...Caleb's birthday is coming up and my sister Trisha suprised him by taking him to lunch up on top of the Space Needle a couple of weeks ago. The cool thing about eating at the restaurant is that it rotates a complete 360 degrees in an hour so you get a view of all of Seattle. My only regret was that my camera was dead....aaarrgh. We did get a few pictures on our cell phone but the quality is definitely left wanting.

Thanks Trish for the fun day!!
Caleb got a Lunar Orbital Icecream for dessert and it was pretty spectacular looking.

How cool!

So, the other day Robyn had to write a story for school based on how something smells and what it reminds her of. Macy said, "When I smell fresh, yummy chocolate cupcakes it reminds me of Caleb and Eliza because remember the Buzz party?" Was that really a year ago?
